Her daughter was studying at another school. Unfortunately, she was not getting the support and environment the parents hoped for. So, when they were looking for alternatives, the parent was recommended Apeejay School, Tanda Road. “We were looking for a school where the staff and the environment are welcoming and supportive. When we visited this school. We found both. Choosing this school came naturally to us,” Neha Sharma, whose daughter Ananya is in Class VI here, shared in a candid interview, among other things.
What changes have you noticed in Ananya since she joined this school?
I have noticed several positive changes in her. The school environment is welcoming and supportive, which matters a lot to us as parents. The teachers are always available whenever we need their help. We can speak to them about our child, her studies, or anything related to school, and they always take the time to guide us.
How would you describe the safety and overall environment at the school?
I am very satisfied with the safety arrangements. The school does not hand over a child to anyone unless the parents have given permission. Even if my father-in-law or mother-in-law goes to pick her up, the school confirms it with us first. They may ask us to send a photograph or verify the person before allowing the child to leave.
I really appreciate this system because we had several safety concerns at her previous school. Here, we do not have to worry about that.
Is there any memorable experience your daughter has had at the school?
Definitely. She enjoys participating in different activities, especially dance, painting, and drawing. She has a lot of interest in these activities and is always keen to take part. Her participation in events such as the annual function has been particularly memorable for us.

How has the school helped her become more disciplined or develop good values?
I can see a clear difference in her behaviour. For example, her teachers encourage children to share. Earlier, she would hardly share anything with her brother. Now she remembers what her teachers have taught her and makes an effort to share.
She has also become more independent. She eats her food on her own, picks up her plate, and takes responsibility for small things. She was not like this earlier, frankly speaking. Now she often offers to help me as well and tries to manage her own work. I feel she has become much more responsible.
How is Ananya doing academically now?
She is doing better than before. There are still a few subjects where she faces some difficulty, but we regularly coordinate with her teachers. They guide us and help her work through those areas. Overall, I can see an improvement in her academics.
What would you tell another parent who is considering this school?
I would recommend the school because it provides quality education and has very supportive teachers. The learning environment is positive, and I have seen a good change in my daughter since she joined.
