Edited excerpts from the interview:

What are the two best parts about the university?

The two best parts about the university are its supportive faculty and the practical learning environment. The university also provides opportunities like workshops, industrial visits, internships, and extracurricular activities that help us gain real-world exposure.

How does the university help you pursue your hobbies and goals?

The university helps me pursue my hobbies and goals by providing a platform where I can balance both my academics and interests. It encourages participation in cultural events, sports, and workshops. This has helped me improve my confidence and communication skills.

How do your teachers help you develop different skills?

My teachers help me in developing different skills by encouraging me to ask questions, participate in presentations, work on projects, and develop communication, teamwork, and leadership. Their continuous support motivates me to keep improving.

It is this combination of academic grounding and constant real-world exposure, I believe has helped me shape into a more confident and industry-ready professional.

How has the university changed you as a person and added to your growth?

Apeejay Stya University has helped me become more confident, disciplined, and independent. It has taught me to take initiative and work effectively in teams. The exposure I have received has prepared me for professional life as well as for professional growth.

What new skills have you learnt at Apeejay Stya University?

Skills I have learnt at Apeejay are effective communication, teamwork, presentation skills, time management, and leadership. Along with academic knowledge, I have also learned how to adapt to new environments and continuously improve myself.

How did you bag the internship at Sun Pharma?

I recently completed my internship at Sun Pharmaceutical Industries in the Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacokinetics (CPP) department. To prepare for this opportunity, I focused on strengthening my pharmaceutical concepts, improving my resume, enhancing my communication skills, and staying confident. The internship gave me valuable exposure to the pharmaceutical industry and practical learning.

What are your future aspirations?

My goal is to build a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry and continue learning through higher education and professional experience. I aspire to contribute to healthcare by working in roles where I can make a meaningful impact while continuously developing my knowledge and skills. Eventually, I hope to grow into a leadership position within the pharmaceutical sector.
