IB school celebrates memorable graduation ceremony for Reception class students

Apeejay School International (ASI), an international Baccalaureate (IB) school in Panchsheel Park, recently organised a remarkable graduation ceremony, honouring the youngest pupils for completing the Reception class.

Graduation day marked an exciting new beginning for these bright individuals. Every year, ASI brings together the entire PYP team to acknowledge the outstanding achievements of the Reception class graduates, celebrate their learning journey, and extend best wishes for their future adventures and opportunities.

The event began with grace and pride as the graduating cohort was welcomed into the AV room on the red carpet. Ms Guneet, the dedicated homeroom facilitator, warmly welcomed the parents in the audience. She expressed her heartfelt emotions on this special day through a poignant poem. Shalini Fate, PYP coordinator, then addressed the audience by reading out the school principal’s message filled with words of appreciation and encouragement.

“Today, when these tiny toddlers are ready to cross a milestone in their life to start a more formal part of their journey, I would like to congratulate and thank the parents for their constant support and encouragement,” the message read. “As I say often, raising a child is not an easy task, it is a partnership that needs to work together to overcome all the obstacles and emerge triumphant to make sure that our children not only become capable of successfully navigating life and its challenges but also to live a meaningful and fulfilling life.

“I am certain that the foundation that they have got here in the early years will help them be successful in higher classes and perform better in years to come. Thank you for your trust in us.” We remain committed to nurturing leaders for tomorrow equipped with skills to be successful in this fast-changing world.”

Students, teachers, and parents cherished the joyful memories they created during the early years by watching a heartwarming video. Moving forward, the little ones took the stage to express their gratitude towards their families and teachers through a captivating song performance.

During the ceremony of recognition and accolades, the eager graduates of the Reception class were brimming with joy and pride. Finally, the IBPYP coordinator thanked all the students for making the school proud and wished them good luck for the incredible achievements that lie ahead in the coming years.
