Since class 1, Inderjit Singh’s son Jayant Singh has been studying at Apeejay International School, Greater Noida. The talented student, who is passionate about Commerce, is now in class 12, preparing for his final exams. In an interview, Singh, who is a politician, talks about the diverse opportunities provided by the school to nurture students. Edited excerpts:

What made you opt for Apeejay International School, Greater Noida?

While looking for top schools for my son, my wife Brijma and I found Apeejay International School, Greater Noida, to be the best in terms of academics, overall environment, discipline, and so on. My elder daughter Anshika Bhati is also an alumna of the school and is now pursuing Psychology Honours. Both my children were enrolled in the school together.

Please share your overall feedback.

The school has been doing well, be it academic enrichment or extra-curricular activities. The school provides children a lot of opportunities to identify their talents and strengths and work on them further.

What progress have you seen in your children?

Both my daughter and son have shown a lot of improvement. They have developed a lot of interest in academics and are keen on seeking more knowledge. In terms of discipline and etiquette too, they have improved a lot. My son keeps participating in extra-curricular activities as well—he is part of the school’s football team.

Is the teaching pattern good enough for students’ concept-building?

The teachers have been putting in a lot of effort to ensure that the students perfectly understand each and every topic or concept that they are being taught.

Tell us about the online classes.

My son has been attending online classes regularly. From what I have observed, the teachers have been doing their job efficiently. They encourage class participation and involve every child. My son has recently started attending offline classes.
