‘Exam day emotions’: Poem by Guneet Singh, Apeejay School, Nerul 

In the exam hall, the clock goes tick-tick

I sit with my pen, feeling a bit sick

Questions tease me, making my mind race

I scribble the answers, hoping for grace

Minutes pass by, like leaves in the breeze,

I try my best, aiming to put my mind at ease.

Though it’s a challenge, I won’t give in,

I’ll face these questions with a determined grin.

In the end, the exam will fade away,

But the lessons I’ve learned will always stay.

So, I’ll keep on trying, doing my best,

In this test of knowledge, I’ll pass the next test.
