Computer is a revolutionary discovery in human history that has profoundly influenced the way we live, especially over the last 20 years. It is impossible to imagine today’s era without computers. Whether you are at work, using an ATM, or filling out a school or job form, computers are ubiquitous.

Here are some facts about the world of computers:

The name of the first electronic computer was ENIAC. It was massive, weighing 27 tons, and spread over 1800 sq. feet.

“TYPEWRITER” is the longest dictionary word that can be typed using keys in only one row on your standard QWERTY keyboard.

The computer mouse was invented by American engineer Doug Engelbart.

The first microprocessor from Intel was the Intel 4004, containing only 2300 transistors and working at a clock rate of 740 kHz.

Intel Sandy Bridge-E, one of the latest microprocessors from Intel, contains 2270 million transistors!

If we could turn the human brain into a computer, that computer would be able to perform 38,000 trillion operations per second and hold more than 3580 TBs of memory.

Visionaries like Bill Gates (Microsoft), Larry Ellison (Oracle), Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook), Larry Page (Google), Michael Dell (Dell Computers), Paul Allen (Microsoft), and Steve Jobs (Apple) all left their studies incomplete and started their companies.

Computers are an essential part of modern life globally, and working in various fields without them is impossible.
