‘Practice is the way to overcome fear’

Aaryan Suri, from the Science stream of the school, secured an enormous 98.2% in the examination. The school topper credits his school that played a pivotal role in his success. “Frequent examinations were conducted at regular intervals to prepare students for board exams. Teachers have always been helpful in clearing doubts and boosting self-confidence,” he highlights.

Explaining his CBSE Board Exam preparation strategy, the topper mentioned, “My approach was different for each subject. I used to study English and Optional subjects at regular intervals and more extensively prior to pre boards.”

This not only made studying more interesting but also helped me in applying those concepts practically.I dedicated time to solving practical problems, case studies, and sample papers to enhance my problem-solving skills.”
He further added how consistent revision ensured that he retained the information for longer periods and helped him in understanding of the subjects. “Time management is the key in subjects especially like Accountancy to ensure you are practicing questions with a time limit,” he emphasised.
Acknowledging how Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg school and his teachers played a crucial role in his preparation, he said, “Firstly, the curriculum provided was comprehensive and aligned with the requirements of the board exams, ensuring that I covered all necessary topics in-depth. Secondly, the teaching methodology employed by my teachers was highly effective, which helped me understand complex concepts more easily.”
He further explained, “Additionally, my teachers were always approachable and willing to clarify any doubts or queries I had, both inside and outside the classroom. Their support and encouragement boosted my confidence and motivated me to strive for excellence.”
For Rehan, his parents have been his pillars of support throughout this journey. “They’ve offered invaluable guidance and advice whenever I’ve faced challenges or difficult decisions. Whether it’s supporting me or simply being there to listen and offer encouragement, my parents have played an indispensable role in my academic journey.”
