In a significant step towards strengthening academia-industry collaboration and expanding professional opportunities for students, Apeejay Stya University (ASU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KUSAVA. The collaboration aims to establish a stronger platform for cooperation in key areas including education, technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, skill development and industry engagement.

The MoU was signed in the presence of the leadership of Apeejay Stya University and representatives from KUSAVA, including Mr. Utkarsh Paul, Vice President, KUSAVA, and Mr. Shashwat Gupta, Co-Founder, KUSAVA. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to creating meaningful opportunities that connect academic learning with practical industry requirements and emerging professional landscapes.

Under the collaboration, students are expected to gain enhanced opportunities for internships, industry exposure, skill development, live projects, professional networking and experiential learning initiatives. These avenues will enable students to complement their classroom education with practical experiences and develop a better understanding of workplace expectations and industry practices.

The partnership also places emphasis on fostering collaboration across technology, innovation and entrepreneurship. By creating opportunities for students to interact with industry professionals and engage with practical projects, the association can encourage them to explore innovative ideas, strengthen problem-solving capabilities and develop an entrepreneurial mindset.

For students, exposure to industry environments can play an important role in translating theoretical concepts into practical applications. Internships and projects, in particular, can help learners understand real-world challenges, collaborate with professionals, apply their knowledge and develop skills that complement their academic qualifications.

The MoU also seeks to strengthen networking opportunities for the ASU student community. Meaningful interaction with industry stakeholders can help students gain insights into evolving career pathways, emerging technologies and professional expectations while enabling them to make more informed decisions about their future careers.

The collaboration is aligned with the growing need for higher education institutions to provide industry-relevant and experiential learning. By bringing academic and industry ecosystems closer, such partnerships can create an environment where students are encouraged to learn continuously, experiment with new ideas and develop skills relevant to a rapidly changing professional world.

The agreement between ASU and KUSAVA therefore marks an important milestone in creating new avenues for professional development, innovation and industry engagement. It reinforces ASU’s commitment to providing students with opportunities that extend beyond conventional classroom learning and prepare them to navigate the demands of the contemporary workplace.

Through this partnership, ASU and KUSAVA aim to build a productive ecosystem that supports learning, innovation, entrepreneurship and employability, while opening up broader possibilities for the university’s students to engage with industry and gain meaningful real-world experience.
