Apeejay School, Noida celebrates creativity & confidence through inter-house competitions
Through these activities, young learners developed confidence, creativity, expression and effective communication skills.
Apeejay School, Noida recently hosted the final rounds of two engaging Inter-House Hindi competitions. The event was for students of Classes 3 and 4. This provided young learners with vibrant platforms to showcase their creativity, confidence and communication skills.
The Inter-House Hindi Competition – “Hasya Kavita Pratiyogita” for Class 3 aimed to nurture students’ love for Hindi poetry. This helped young learners develop confidence, creativity, expression and effective communication skills. Students presented humorous and entertaining poems with enthusiasm, using appropriate expressions, gestures and voice modulation.
Tavish Goel of Class 3 D, representing the Tagore house, secured first position, followed by Saanvi Pilania from 3 A Nehru house in second place. Parikshita Chaudhary, a class 3 D student from Tagore house won the third prize.
The school also organised the final round of the Inter-House Hindi Competition – “Role Play – Our Inspiring Sportsperson” for Class 4 on the same day. The competition encouraged students to develop confidence, creativity and communication skills while learning about the achievements and journeys of inspiring sportspersons. Through dialogue delivery, expressions, gestures and stage presentation, participants brought their chosen sporting personalities to life.
The performances were assessed on content and character portrayal, dialogue delivery, pronunciation, voice modulation, expressions, body language, confidence, creativity and overall presentation. The event created an energetic atmosphere and helped Apeejay students strengthen their public-speaking skills while learning about sporting legends.
Shanaya Singh, a student of class 4 C from R K house won the first position, while Hriday Datta Class 4 B student, representing the Gandhi house secured second place and Apeksha Singh from 4 C, Nehru house stood third.
Both competitions reflected Apeejay School, Noida’s emphasis on experiential learning, encouraging students to learn, perform and express themselves beyond the classroom. The events concluded on an encouraging note, celebrating the achievements and enthusiastic participation of the young learners.
