A Grand Welcome: Fresher’s Day 2026 Celebrates Talent, Confidence and New Beginnings
An evening of captivating performances and spirited competition at Apeejay School of Management, Dwarka
The Cultural Team of Apeejay School of Management (ASM) hosted the Fresher’s Day celebration for the new batch with enthusiasm. This event was organised by the team comprising Dr. Pooja Yadav, Prof. Saumya Satija, Dr. Vernika Aggarwal, and Dr. Shubhra Bahal, along with enthusiastic student participation. The event served as a vibrant welcome to the new batch of students, filled with energy, creativity, and warmth.
The program began with cultural performances by both seniors and freshers, showcasing
energetic dance routines, soulful singing, and creative acts that set a lively tone for the celebration. The highlight of the evening was the much-anticipated Mr. & Ms. Fresher’s Contest 2026, where participants displayed outstanding style, talent, and confidence. A distinguished panel of judges Dr. Preeti Suryavanshi and Dr. Neha Gupta evaluated the contestants with fairness and keen appreciation.
After a spirited and tough competition, the winners were Sunil and Saumya who were crowned as Mr. Fresher 2026 and Ms. Fresher 2026. Mr Talented and Ms Talented awards were given to Roshan and Tripti. Additionally, the Best Dress Award was bagged by Shashank & Saniya.
The announcement of the winners was met with enthusiastic cheers, applause, and
celebration, making the evening truly memorable for the incoming batch.
Sharing her thoughts, Dr. Vernika Agarwal, Associate Professor appreciated the confidence and talent displayed by the freshers, noting that such events foster a strong sense of belonging,
unity, and camaraderie among students.
Further Dr. Pooja Yadav, Assistant Professor expressed that the enthusiasm of both seniors
and juniors were heartwarming, highlighting how the vibrant cultural evening beautifully set the tone for an engaging and successful academic journey ahead.
Expressing his joy Sunil, Mr. Fresher 2026 shared, “It was an unforgettable experience. The warmth and energy from the faculty and seniors made us feel instantly at home. The contest and performances gave everyone an incredible platform to showcase their individuality beyond academics. This celebration will remain one of the most cherished highlights of my college journey.”
Saumya, Ms. Fresher 2026, also expressed, “From the lively performances to the seamless coordination, everything was organised to perfection. The encouragement and cheers from our seniors gave us immense confidence on stage. More than just an event, it felt like a joyful family celebration of new beginnings, and I am excited for the journey ahead.”
