Badges, oaths & big dreams: Know how these young learners are already leading the way

In a solemn yet spirited event that celebrated leadership, accountability, and the blossoming confidence of young learners, Apeejay School, Noida, recently hosted its Investiture Ceremony for the Primary Department marking a significant milestone for the primary wing. The ceremony, conducted with much grandeur and pride, was graced by the Principal of the school, Dr. Neha Sharma, and Vice Principal Ms. Amrita Hajela, who presided over the proceedings.

The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as the Prefectorial Board for the academic session 2025-26 was formally introduced. With shining badges pinned to their uniforms and sashes draped with pride, the newly elected leaders were invested by the Principal and Vice Principal in a symbolic moment of honour and responsibility.

At the helm of the student council stood the Head Girl, Ira Negi (Class V-D), and Head Boy, Luv Dhamija (Class V-D). Standing tall alongside their core team, they pledged to uphold the school’s values and discharge their duties with dedication, discipline, and integrity. With right hands raised and eyes full of promise, the young leaders recited the oath administered by Dr. Neha Sharma, vowing to abide by the ideals of the school motto — “Soaring High is My Nature.”  

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sharma congratulated the newly appointed office bearers and motivated them to lead by example. “True leadership is rooted in service, humility, and courage,” she shared, urging the students to be torchbearers of honesty and truthfulness in all that they do.

The most inspiring moment came when the Head Boy and Head Girl addressed the assembly, delivering heartfelt acceptance speeches that were brimming with gratitude, resolve, and enthusiasm. Their words resonated with peers and teachers alike, reflecting the maturity and clarity of purpose that Apeejay instills in its learners.

The ceremony, filled with applause and admiration, was not just a celebration of titles but a powerful lesson in responsibility and vision. It concluded on a high note with the rendition of the school song, echoing the collective spirit of commitment and excellence.

Indeed, the day stood as a proud testimony that leadership begins early, and with the right guidance, our young learners are already charting the course toward a brighter future.
