Apeejay College of Fine Arts celebrates academic excellence 

The Jalandhar-based college hosts felicitation ceremony to honour advanced learners of session 2023-24

The Department of Commerce at Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA) in Jalandhar recently organised a Felicitation Ceremony to honour the top achievers of the 2023-24 academic session. Students who secured the top three positions in the mid-term examinations were recognised for their exceptional performance and dedication.

During the ceremony, Shivanshi Khanna, a sixth-semester B.Com student, shared her journey of academic success, attributing her achievements to the consistent practice of MSTs (Mid-Term Tests). She credited MSTs for not only helping her excel in college but also for becoming a university topper.

Diya Talwar, a second-semester BFA student, also highlighted the transformative role of MSTs in overcoming examination anxiety and easing the transition from school to college. She expressed gratitude for the preparation MSTs provided her for the final university exams.

Two fourth-semester BBA students, Archa and Ritika, delivered a motivating presentation, emphasising the importance of consistency, perseverance, and a positive attitude in achieving academic success. They encouraged their fellow students to aim for excellence and strive to become university toppers in the future.

Addressing the gathering, Ms. Neeru Mahajan, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce, shared words of wisdom from inspirational figures like Swami Vivekananda and A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, urging students to pursue their life goals with determination and dedication.

Finally, Dr. Neerja, Principal  of ACFA, commended the advanced learners for their diligence and commitment to academic excellence. She emphasised the significance of utilising college years productively and encouraged students to seek guidance from mentors to achieve their full potential and make their college and parents proud.

Dr. Dhingra expressed gratitude to Ms. Meera and Ms. Neeru for their efforts in organising the event seamlessly. Their dedication ensured the success of the felicitation ceremony, which served as a celebration of academic achievement and a source of inspiration for students striving for excellence.
