A Roaring Start: Students embark on an exciting journey into the new academic session

On July 17, 2023, the campus of Apeejay School International in Panchsheel Park was buzzing with energy and enthusiasm as the curtains lifted on the first day of the much-anticipated 2023-24 academic session. Students, brimming with excitement and a touch of nervousness, eagerly stepped through the school gates, ready to embrace new challenges and seize every opportunity that came their way.

Warm Welcome, Bright Smiles:

The teaching faculty sure the day started on a high note, extending heart-warming greetings to the students. Radiating positivity and warmth, the educators set the tone for a nurturing environment, ensuring the young learners felt right at home in their new classrooms.

New Bonds and Rekindled Friendships:

As the students gathered, old friends embraced each other with joy, while newcomers found themselves surrounded by smiling faces eager to make new connections. The air was abuzz with laughter and chatter, signifying a promising start to the academic year. According to Regina Hanif, a Primary-Years-Programme – V student of the school, “Post the summer break, I was quite excited to meet my friends as well as study a lot. In the following year, I am keen to learn more about subjects like English and Science.”

Melodies that Set the Rhythm:

To add an extra dash of vibrancy, the school’s music facilitator kicked off the day with cheerful melodies that instantly had everyone tapping their feet. The upbeat tunes infused the atmosphere with a contagious energy, creating an environment of enthusiasm and camaraderie.

Creative Extravaganza:

The school had meticulously curated a range of engaging activities to make the day even more special. From tattoo-making to friendship band crafting and a riot of colours in the colouring stations, the students’ creativity knew no bounds. Proudly showcasing their artistic talents, these young minds revelled in expressing their uniqueness and individuality.

As per Tani Bansal, a Middle-Years-Programme – V student says, “The first day of the school was quite interesting. The school and the educators planned several activities for us to understand the subjects well. I am looking forward to building my Personal Project in the coming months.”

Fostering Connections:

Beyond the fun and excitement, the first day served as an essential platform for the students to forge meaningful connections with their teachers and peers. These initial bonds set the groundwork for a supportive and encouraging environment throughout the year. Manya Verma, a Diploma Programme – I student says, “I am a new student in the school. Prior to this, I was living in Brunei with my family, and now we have relocated to India for the next two years. So, my first day was pretty comfortable. The environment at the institution is welcoming and I built friendships on my very first day. At present, I am familiarising myself with the syllabus.”

With laughter echoing through the halls and creativity flowing freely, the first day of the academic session 2023-24 marked the beginning of a thrilling journey for the students. Powered by excitement and a newfound sense of belonging, they eagerly looked ahead to the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead.
