Doyens in our family always teach us to – listen more and speak less. No wonder the lesson finally yielded a great result in my performance during exams,” iterates Aryaveer Sharma. This child genius was recently promoted to class IV in Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg. “I used to listen attentively in the class and always ensured that my class work and home work was finished on time,” said the nine-year-old.

“My favourite subject is EVS. I love the idea of practical implications of it. I am totally in love with the experiments that I conduct during EVS classes,” he added.

Aryaveer is fond of taking a round along with his friends to the school lab and learning about the usage and working of the microscope. “The whole instrument is such a genius thing. It looks like a sophisticated machine that unravels a different world which is completely invisible to the eye otherwise,” he shared.

This young one is influenced by the recently released film 12th Fail. “I am a fan of cricket and football leagues and can watch matches for hours on TV until my mother scolds me,” expressed Aryaveer. “Following this same interest, I have joined a football academy to hone my skills in the game,” he added.

In conclusion, he shared that both his parents are involved in his academics at home. “Whenever my mother is busy tending to my elder brother, my father takes care of all my studies and makes sure I understand and learn all the subjects well. I also love to compete with my brother; it is so much fun. Finally we are rewarded with cheese gravy with chapatis for dinner which is also my most favourite dish along with burgers during the weekend on a long drive.”
