Young learners at Apeejay School, Tanda Road, strengthen their numeracy skills through an engaging hands-on activity
The tiny tots of UKG at Apeejay School, Tanda Road, enthusiastically participated in an engaging Numeracy Subject Enrichment Activity titled “Count and Pick the Correct Card.” The activity was thoughtfully designed to make the process of learning numbers interactive, enjoyable, and meaningful for the young learners.
The classroom came alive with excitement as the children eagerly counted different objects and matched them with the appropriate number cards and number-name flash cards. With bright smiles and keen concentration, the little learners showcased their growing understanding of numbers through hands-on participation and active involvement. The activity encouraged every child to think, observe, count carefully, and identify the correct response independently.
The fun-filled session proved to be an enriching learning experience as it strengthened the students’ foundational numeracy concepts engagingly. Through playful learning techniques, the children enhanced their computational abilities while simultaneously improving their eye-hand coordination and observation skills. The activity also promoted confidence, focus, and quick thinking among the students.
