How do you feel receiving the placement offer? What position have you been offered?
Receiving placement offers is truly a rewarding and fulfilling experience, as it reflects consistent effort and dedication. I feel grateful and excited to begin my professional journey. I have been offered roles such as Executive Trainee at HDFC Life, Sales Associate at Learning Routes Pvt. Ltd., and Business Development Trainees at Movidu Technology Ltd. These opportunities provide a strong platform to enter the corporate world. I believe being open to learning and stepping into dynamic roles is important at the beginning of one’s career, as it helps build versatility and practical exposure.
How did you prepare for your placements?
My preparation for placements was consistent and well-structured. I focused on strengthening my core subjects while also working on understanding industry expectations and market trends. Alongside my personal preparation, I actively participated in the institute’s Placement Enhancement Program, which provided training in aptitude, interview techniques, and resume building. The Managerial Communication Mastery sessions further helped me refine my communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Regular practice through mock interviews and group discussions played a key role in improving my confidence, clarity of thought, and overall performance.
How did your teachers at Apeejay help you during the placement process?
The faculty at Apeejay have been extremely supportive throughout the placement journey. They provided valuable guidance in understanding concepts, refining resumes, and preparing for interviews. Their mentorship during mock interviews and group discussions helped identify my strengths and areas of improvement. Beyond academics, they continuously motivated and encouraged us, which played a crucial role in boosting my confidence.
Tips to crack a job interview
Cracking a job interview requires a balance of knowledge, confidence, and clarity. It is important to have a strong understanding of your subjects and be able to communicate your thoughts effectively. Being honest, composed, and confident creates a positive impression. Researching about the company and aligning your responses accordingly is also crucial. Most importantly, maintaining a learning mindset and being adaptable helps in handling different interview situations successfully.
Your future aspirations
My future aspiration is to build a strong and progressive career where I can continuously learn and contribute meaningfully to the organisation. I aim to take on roles that challenge me and help me grow both professionally and personally. In the long run, I aspire to take up leadership responsibilities and create a positive impact through my work.
