‘Different experiences not only made learning enjoyable but also helped me build skills’

Siya Devi’s journey at Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar has been marked by continuous learning, skill development, and personal growth. Why did you choose AIMETC for education?

I chose AIMETC because of its strong academic reputation, industry-oriented curriculum, and focus on the overall development of students. What is your favourite memory from college?

My favourite memory from college is the time I spent participating in academic activities, group projects, presentations, and interactions with faculty members and classmates. These experiences not only made learning enjoyable but also helped me build confidence, teamwork, and communication skills. The friendships, guidance from teachers, and the supportive environment at AIMETC made my college journey truly memorable and enriching.

How did working on different projects and assignments help you build skills?

Working on various projects and assignments played a significant role in my learning journey. They helped me develop analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, research skills, and time management. Through group assignments, I learned the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and leadership. These practical experiences enabled me to apply theoretical concepts to real-world situations and prepared me to handle professional responsibilities more effectively.

How did AIMETC and teachers help you grow personally and professionally?

AIMETC has contributed immensely to my personal and professional growth. The faculty members consistently encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone, participate in academic activities, and develop confidence in my abilities. Their guidance helped me improve my communication, presentation, leadership, and decision-making skills.

I would especially like to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Rahul Handa, who has been a constant source of support and motivation throughout my academic journey. His guidance, encouragement, and dedication as a teacher inspired me to perform better and continuously improve myself. His mentorship played an important role in shaping my confidence and professional outlook.
