The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to distribute revised physical marksheets to Class 12 students who have applied for verification of marks or re-evaluation of their Board results. The updated documents will be made available through CBSE regional offices in the coming weeks.
According to the Board, students will be required to submit their original marksheets before receiving the revised versions. This step is mandatory to ensure that only the corrected and updated documents remain in circulation.
For students requiring immediate proof of their revised scores for admissions or other official purposes, CBSE has clarified that updated marksheets are already available on DigiLocker. These digital copies are valid for academic admissions, counseling processes, and other official uses until the physical documents are issued.
The board has also shared an update on the progress of the verification and re-evaluation process. CBSE stated that it has completed and declared results for nearly 87 per cent of the applications received in the first phase. The remaining cases are currently under review and will be released in subsequent phases.
The Class 12 Board results were originally declared on May 13 for around 17.69 lakh students. Following the announcement of results, students were provided access to scanned copies of their evaluated answer sheets between May 19 and May 25. Based on these copies, candidates could apply for verification of marks and re-evaluation from June 2 to June 7.
As CBSE announces revised results in stages, students whose scores have changed can already download updated scorecards from DigiLocker. Meanwhile, CBSE has assured candidates that the process of issuing revised physical marksheets will be completed soon through its regional offices, bringing the post-result review process to a close.
Students are advised to regularly check official CBSE: www.cbse.gov.in notifications and keep their original mark sheets ready for submission when collecting the revised documents.
