For Yara Sriman, pursuing a BBA in Marketing at Apeejay Stya University (ASU), Gurugram has been about much more than earning a degree. Among her favourite memories are the friendships she has built and the experiences she has enjoyed during college events. However, what makes her journey even more special is the University’s support for her sporting ambitions.

“I am passionate about football, and the university has supported me in continuing my training while managing both my studies and my sport. This balance has helped me grow both personally and professionally,” she says.

For Yara, this flexibility has allowed her to excel in academics without giving up something he loves.

Currently exploring internship opportunities, Yara believes students should begin preparing early by developing relevant skills and building a strong professional profile.

“Students should focus on building practical skills, maintaining a strong resume, improving communication, networking with professionals, and applying consistently. Continuous learning is the key to securing good internship opportunities,” he advises.

Looking ahead, Yara hopes to build a successful career in business, marketing, and management while continuing to pursue football with equal dedication.
