Academic excellence is the result of consistent effort, disciplined preparation, and the right guidance. This year, four students from Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg (academic year 2025-26) showcased remarkable dedication, resilience, and confidence through their performances. Meet Jasnoor Kaur, Shivam, Aanya Sud, and Ayaan Kashyap. In a candid interview, share how regular revision, focused learning, and strong support from teachers and parents played a vital role in achieving success.

To stay motivated, Jasnoor used to look at the syllabus regularly and keep revising from her books step by step. “During exams, I managed my time carefully by dividing every section according to the marks and difficulty level. That really helped me complete my paper on time. My teachers were also very cooperative and gave me a few extra minutes at the end, which I used to recheck my answers and correct mistakes. Revision played a very important role because it helped me fill the gaps in my preparation. My teachers always encouraged us to revise properly. Apart from studies, I also made sure not to study continuously for the entire day,” this now Class VII student shared.

The biggest difference in Shivam’s performance was regular practice and better time management. “I stayed consistent with my studies and revised topics daily, which helped me understand concepts more clearly. The constant support from my teachers and family motivated me to work harder and stay focused throughout the year,” he said.
Initially, he found Science a little challenging because some concepts were difficult to understand. However, with regular practice and guidance from his teachers, he gradually improved and started enjoying the subject.
“Before exams, I followed a proper study timetable. The tests conducted in school also boosted my confidence and prepared me well for exams. My teachers played a huge role in my journey by clearing my doubts, encouraging me, and conducting extra practice and revision sessions that helped me perform better,” the now Class VII student shared.

The two most important things that helped Aanya perform well were listening attentively in class and studying regularly at home. She always made sure that she understood the concepts clearly during lessons, which made revision much easier later.
“I also followed a fixed study routine every evening after returning from my sports class, even during exams. I feel a disciplined routine works best for me and helps me stay focused. I also believe that if you study consistently, exam stress becomes much easier to manage. Whenever I felt stressed, I took a short break, stayed positive, and then started again with a fresh mind. Beyond scoring good marks, I also worked hard on improving my Mathematics skills,” the Class VII student said.

For Ayaan the biggest reason behind his good performance this year was his confidence and consistent hard work. Scoring 100% marks in Class V motivated him to stay disciplined and focused.
“I revised regularly, completed my work on time, and paid close attention in class. Initially, I found Social Studies challenging because it required proper understanding and application of concepts rather than memorisation. However, regular revision, note-making, and classroom learning helped me improve gradually and become more confident in the subject,” he shared.
Before exams, he prepared by reading chapters thoroughly, revising with worksheets and notes, and marking important points for quick revision. “My mother constantly supported and guided me; taking blessings from my parents before exams gave me positivity and confidence. My teachers also played a huge role in motivating and guiding me throughout the year,” the now Class VII student said in conclusion.
