It was a proud moment for Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, as Yuvika, a student of Class VIII, secured the third position in the 10 to 15 years age category for dance at ICON OF MODANCE Season 3. The competition was held in Jalandhar and brought young performers together on a common stage.
The recognition in a performing arts competition is not only about winning a position. It also reflects practice, discipline, confidence, and the ability to perform before an audience. Yuvika’s achievement has added to the school’s sense of pride and highlighted the value of encouraging students to explore their talents beyond academics.
Dance, as an art form, asks for both expression and control. Students who participate in such platforms learn how to manage stage presence, movement, rhythm, and pressure. These experiences often become important lessons in self-belief, especially at a young age.
The school Principal, Dr Rajesh Kumar Chandel, congratulated Yuvika on her achievement and appreciated her dedication. In-charge Ms Simranjit Kaur and dance teacher Ms Shikha also extended their wishes to her. Their encouragement reflected the school’s effort to support students in activities that help shape confidence and creativity.
As Yuvika continues her journey, her achievement at ICON OF MODANCE Season 3 will remain a special milestone. It is a moment of celebration for her, her teachers, and the school. It is a reminder that talent grows best when it is recognised, guided, and encouraged with care.
For Apeejay School, Tanda Road, such achievements strengthen the belief that education is not limited to classroom learning. Cultural and creative opportunities help students understand discipline in a different form. They also allow children to discover what they enjoy and where their strengths may lie.
