I am a Chartered Accountant working in the capital markets ecosystem, advising promoter-led businesses on fundraising, financial strategy, governance frameworks, and preparing them to engage with institutional investors. Much of my work involves helping entrepreneurial companies transition into more structured, investor-ready organisations. What I enjoy most is bringing clarity and discipline to growing businesses and seeing them evolve into stronger, more resilient institutions.
How did the school nurture you holistically?
My school encouraged participation and confidence beyond academics. I had the opportunity to serve as House Prefect and later House Captain, which gave me some of my earliest lessons in leadership, teamwork, and responsibility. I also remember the excitement around Annual Appreciation Day preparations and Open Days, the rehearsals, teamwork, and the sense of everyone working together to create something meaningful. Interestingly, I still remember many of the songs we performed on during Annual Days; they are etched in memory even today. Those experiences helped build confidence, communication skills, and a sense of ownership from a young age.
Any advice for school students?
Stay curious and pursue what genuinely interests you. Passion gives you the energy to work hard and stay committed. At the same time, remember that learning never really stops, develop the habit of always being a student and constantly learning from new experiences.

Share your favourite nostalgia from school.
The energy around Annual Appreciation Day rehearsals, practicing with friends, and the excitement backstage before performances. Those moments of teamwork, laughter, and shared effort created memories that stay with you long after school ends.
What kind of women leadership and entrepreneurship roles do you work for?
In my work, I advise entrepreneurs and founders on financial strategy, capital raising, and building strong governance frameworks. It’s encouraging to see more women stepping into leadership and entrepreneurial roles, and I enjoy supporting businesses that aim to scale with strong financial discipline and long-term vision.
Any advice for CA aspirants?
Focus on understanding concepts deeply rather than studying only for exams. Develop strong analytical thinking and stay curious about how businesses operate in the real world. Chartered Accountancy is demanding, but it provides a very strong foundation for diverse opportunities.
How has AI redefined this industry?
AI is increasingly helping automate routine tasks like data analysis and documentation. This allows professionals to focus more on judgment, strategy, and problem-solving. The future of the profession will belong to those who combine strong domain knowledge with the ability to effectively use technology.
