Apeejay School of Management (ASM) and Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC) together observed the 106th birth anniversary of its revered late Founder-Chairman, Dr. Stya Paul, with a day-long celebration that beautifully combined solemn remembrance with vibrant participation. The event served as a fitting tribute to the visionary educationist whose ideals of excellence, ethics, and service continue to inspire generations.

The day commenced with a Blood Donation Camp, an initiative that perfectly reflected Dr. Stya Paul’s lifelong commitment to humanitarian values and social responsibility. The camp was organised by Dr. Nikita Dhankar in collaboration with the Rotary Blood Bank, Delhi, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and staff members. The spirit of compassion and selfless service was evident throughout, as the Apeejay community came together for a noble cause.

Key statistics from the camp showcased its success — a total of 51 participants registered, and 22 units of blood were successfully donated. The Apeejay School of Management (ASM) contributed 14 donors, while Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC) recorded 7 donors, and 1 donor represented other departments. The event was ably supported by eight dedicated student volunteers — Harshit Mishra, Sudiksha, Anushka, Yusuf, Nitin Dwivedi, Archi Maheshwari, Deepanshi, and Ratna — whose commitment ensured smooth execution.

The formal programme began with a warm welcome by the student anchors, followed by a Welcome Address by Prof. Sajal Mukherjee, Director, AIMC. Prof. Mukherjee reflected on Dr. Stya Paul’s philosophy of education rooted in ethics, empowerment, and excellence. He also read out an inspiring message from Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education, who urged the students to uphold the timeless values envisioned by her father.

In alignment with the Founder’s emphasis on value-based education, students of AIMC and ASM presented insightful sessions on “Ethical Management Practices and Young Managers.” These thought-provoking presentations explored how future professionals can harmonize success with integrity and contribute to a more ethical business ecosystem.

As the judges deliberated on the results, the atmosphere turned festive with a cultural programme, showcasing the creativity and talent of the students and adding color and energy to the occasion.

A key highlight of the day was the presentation of the prestigious Dr. Stya Paul Award for Human Values, honoring students who exemplify compassion, honesty, leadership, and kindness — qualities that define the Apeejay ethos. The award stands as a living symbol of the Founder’s belief that education must build both intellect and character.

The celebration concluded with a Vote of Thanks, as faculty, students, and guests reflected on the enduring legacy of Dr. Stya Paul. The day encapsulated the true spirit of Apeejay — one of reflection, service, and inspiration — reaffirming the commitment of the Dwarka Campus to carry forward his noble vision.
