Recently, Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, organised a one-day excursion to Rangmanch for 161 students of Class III onwards, offering them a refreshing break from their regular classroom routine. The trip was a delightful blend of adventure, recreation, and experiential learning, allowing students to explore new experiences while strengthening friendships and developing essential life skills.

The much-awaited excursion began with great enthusiasm as students gathered at school, excited about the day ahead. Accompanied by their teachers, they set off for Rangmanch, looking forward to an exciting day of exploration, fun, and shared experiences.

Upon arrival, the students immersed themselves in a lively atmosphere filled with adventure activities, recreational games, and engaging experiences. They participated enthusiastically, embraced new challenges, and stepped out of their comfort zones in a safe and supervised environment. The activities encouraged them to develop confidence, adaptability, and a spirit of adventure.

Beyond entertainment, the trip provided valuable opportunities for students to learn the importance of teamwork, cooperation, and mutual support. They cheered for their peers, shared moments of laughter, and encouraged one another throughout the activities. These interactions helped nurture social skills, discipline, responsible behaviour, and a stronger sense of camaraderie.

The students were accompanied by Mr Kuldeep Singh, Mr Sandeep Kumar, Mr Sandeep Sangwan, Mr Rakesh Kumar, Mr Pankaj Kaushik, Mr Satbir Singh, Mrs Bunty Dala, Mrs Renu Sharma, Mrs Monika Pahal, Mrs Poonam Sharma, and Mrs Sonu Sangwan. Their guidance and attentive supervision ensured the students’ safety, comfort, and active participation throughout the excursion.

The outing reflected the spirit of experiential learning emphasised in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, demonstrating how meaningful learning can extend beyond the classroom.

“Educational excursions provide children with opportunities to learn, explore, and grow beyond the classroom. The Rangmanch trip offered our students a wonderful blend of adventure, recreation, teamwork, and experiential learning. I appreciate the enthusiasm displayed by the students and the sincere efforts of the accompanying teachers in ensuring their safety and enjoyment. Such experiences nurture confidence, independence, cooperation, and joyful learning. I hope our students continue to explore the world with curiosity, and return with beautiful memories and valuable life lessons,” shares Dr Vineet Vasishtha, Principal of the school.

The day concluded with cheerful faces, lively conversations, and cherished memories. The Rangmanch excursion proved to be a memorable combination of adventure, friendship, and learning, leaving students refreshed, confident, and eager for more such enriching experiences.
