‘At Apeejay Faridabad, students are engaged productively all the time’
Mrs. Shivani Sapru Bradoo, mother of Apeejay School Faridabad students Aarav and Aanya Bradoo, speaks about the untiring efforts the school faculty puts in during online classes
Shivani Sapru Bradoo, currently a home-maker, is a computer engineer by profession. Her husband Mohit Bradoo is an architect with Bentley Systems Software Company. They are proud parents of Aarav and Aanya Bradoo, class 3 and 8 students at Apeejay School Faridabad. In a short interview, Mrs. Bradoo discusses her reasons for choosing the school, her children’s personality and what she finds best in the school. Edited excerpts:
What made you choose Apeejay Faridabad over other schools for the admission of your children?
We selected Apeejay School Faridabad at the time of my daughter’s admission. The reasons behind our decision were the numerous good reviews we got about the school. We didn’t want any other school for our child. We wanted Apeejay School, Faridabad and fortunately she got selected there.
Please tell us about your children and take us through their progress?
Aarav is an avid reader. He is very passionate about it. I think he is a gifted reader, he loves the exercise of reading totally. He reads everything from newspapers to books. Currently he is reading the entire The Secret Seven series by Enid Blyton. He also loves to play sports and watch things on his iPad (laughs). Aanya is more into dance. She also likes to read but isn’t as avid a reader as her brother. Among subjects, Aarav loves computers while Aanya is interested in science and history. Both of them love to paint. Though Aarav is at the initial stage in painting.
Are the teachers engaging well with students?
Yes, the teachers are very nice. All the teachers are doing a fantastic job. I haven’t met Aanya’s teachers yet due to the pandemic but I was able to meet Aarav’s teachers. They are all very pleasant and helpful. All the teachers have been putting in all their efforts especially since the past two years during the online classes.
What is the best thing about the school?
I feel the best thing about the school is its emphasis on extra-curricular activities. The kids are made to engage in them and it helps in developing their personality. That is a big plus point for the school.
What do you think are the advantages of the online classes?
Everyone prefers the physical classes but the school is putting in a lot of effort into the online classes. They are taking extra-classes for the students, conducting extra-curricular activity classes in the evening. The students are kept engaged productively all the time.
