Muskan Bansal, a PGDM graduate in Finance and Marketing from Apeejay School of Management (ASM), turned her academic learning and internship experience into a promising corporate career with determination and consistent preparation. After securing the role of Management Trainee at Saatvik Solar, she reflects on how practical exposure, faculty guidance, placement support, and continuous skill development at ASM helped her build confidence, navigate the placement process, and prepare for the professional world. Read edited excerpts:

How did you prepare for placement? Share tips.

I prepared by regularly updating my resume, practicing mock interviews, strengthening my Excel and finance concepts, and staying updated with current affairs and industry trends. I also researched every company before attending interviews. My advice to juniors is to start early, build practical skills, customise your preparation for each company, and stay confident. Rejections are part of the process, so consistency is important.

How did ASM help you prepare for the placement journey?

Apeejay School of Management played an important role by organising placement drives, mock interviews, aptitude sessions, resume-building workshops, and corporate interactions. The faculty and placement team guided us throughout the process and continuously motivated us to improve our professional skills.”

What are your future aspirations as an MBA graduate?

As an MBA graduate, my goal is to continuously learn, develop expertise in business and operations, take on greater responsibilities, and eventually move into leadership roles where I can contribute to organisational growth.
