The transition to the IB curriculum can feel demanding at first, but the right school environment can make it deeply rewarding. For many parents, this makes the choice of school especially important, as they look for a place that prepares a child not just for exams but for life beyond them. “We chose Apeejay’s IB School, Apeejay School International, Panchsheel Park, because we felt it would be the right school for our daughter’s future and higher studies. We wanted a school that focuses not only on marks but also on confidence, communication, independent thinking, and overall growth. This school gave us that confidence, and we are happy with our decision,” Pankaj Johari, father of Kayna, a DP-1 student, shared.
How has your daughter adjusted to the IB workload in DP-1?
She has adjusted very well to the IB workload in DP-1. Initially, we knew that IB would be a little challenging and different, but she has managed it nicely. She is now more regular and responsible with her studies, assignments, and deadlines. Most importantly, she is happy and comfortable in school, which makes us feel very satisfied.
How does the school support her during stressful periods?
The school supports her very well during stressful times. The teachers are always ready to guide her whenever she needs help. They understand the pressure of IB and help students in a calm and positive way. As parents, we are happy with the support and care given by the school.
Have you noticed any difference in your daughter’s thinking or learning style after joining IB?
Yes, we have noticed a big difference after joining IB. She now tries to understand things deeply instead of just memorising them. She asks more questions, thinks more clearly, and connects her learning with real life. Her personality has also improved a lot. The IB culture is completely unique and has helped her become more confident and open-minded.
How approachable and supportive are the teachers?
The teachers are very approachable and supportive. Our daughter feels comfortable asking questions and discussing her problems with them. They guide her properly and help her understand things better. We are happy with the way the teachers support the students and handle everything.
Has she become more confident or independent over the years?
Yes, definitely. We can clearly see that she has become more confident and independent. She now manages her studies better, speaks more confidently, and takes more responsibility for her work. This is a very positive change for us as parents.
How has the IB environment influenced your child’s confidence or personality?
The IB environment has had a very good impact on her personality. She has become more expressive, mature, and independent. She now shares her thoughts more openly and takes interest in learning. Overall, we are very happy with her growth and development.
