Apeejay School, Kharghar kicked off its much-anticipated new academic session igniting a palpable sense of excitement and anticipation among students and staff alike. The day began with a captivating special assembly, setting a resoundingly positive tone for the start of the session.

Under the guidance of officiating Principal, Ms Shara Sharma, the assembly commenced with a serene prayer and an inspiring thought for the day. The officiating Principal’s stirring motivational message infused the atmosphere with optimism, laying the groundwork for a fruitful academic journey ahead.

“As we gather here today to mark the beginning of a new academic session, I am filled with a sense of immense joy and optimism. The start of a new journey is always a momentous occasion, brimming with endless possibilities and opportunities for growth. As we embark on this journey together, I am reminded of the words of Nelson Mandela, who once said, ‘Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.’ These words resonate deeply with the mission and values of our esteemed institution,” expressed Ms Sharma.

Following the assembly, Primary students were engaged in ice-breaking sessions organised by their class teachers, fostering inclusivity and joy among peers. Creativity took centrestage as art teachers lead students through engaging activities designed to ignite their passion for expression and imagination. From crafting spinners and bookmarks to creating rainbow wall hangings, students of all grades embraced the opportunity to unleash their creativity.

Meanwhile, the Pre-primary department welcomed kindergarten children with open arms on a cheerful ‘Welcome Day’. Teachers greeted students with warmth and enthusiasm, guiding them into their classrooms and introducing them to their new environment. Personalised welcome souvenirs crafted by the children themselves added to the excitement, creating a heart-warming atmosphere of camaraderie and joy.

The nursery students eased into the school routine with engaging craft activities aimed at fostering creativity and social interaction. From crafting pencil toppers to hand printing and bookmark making, these activities not only sparked imagination but also enhanced fine motor skills, setting a solid foundation for their educational journey.
