Bhennee Srivastava – 96.6% (Humanities)

Bhennee Srivastava, the school topper with a remarkable 96.6%, shares her study approach, “I made a study schedule that allotted specific time for each subject. Making notes in class helped me recall concepts step by step. Understanding the exam pattern and taking regular breaks helped maintain concentration without overloading myself. I ensured I got enough sleep and ate healthy to keep my mind fresh during exams. I frequently contacted my teachers and friends whenever I had doubts and solved previous year question papers to revise. I remained confident and optimistic till the end and believed in my preparation.”

The school topper aspires to study Psychology Honours from Delhi or Mumbai University says her teachers were there for all the students throughout the year. She mentioned, “I had troubles in History and Political Science as there is so much to learn but I approached the subject like I was reading an interesting story and this generated more interest which facilitated learning. Plus thanks to the study material, extra classes given by the school, I was prepared fully.”

Ishita Pandey – 96% (Humanities)

Ishita Pandey, a humanities student who scored 96%, emphasises understanding over memorisation: “I focused on understanding concepts clearly rather than just memorising for exams. It’s not important to devote long hours to study but to take each second seriously. During classes, I concentrated and grasped everything taught, which helped me remember the material easily later. I solely and thoroughly studied from NCERT textbooks. My school conducted regular examinations and mock tests, which helped a lot. Psychology was a bit challenging, but I practiced by writing instead of learning orally. I aspire to be an HR manager, so I believe Psychology will help me understand people better.”

Kunwar Kunnal Singh – 95% (Science)

Kunwar Kunnal Singh, a science student with an impressive 95%, had an unusual combination of subjects: “I had an unusual choice of subjects: Math, Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, and English. Preparing for BSc Psychology required both Math and Psychology. I read NCERT textbooks thoroughly and stuck to the course in depth. I increased practice in Math and Chemistry, especially numericals and focused on understanding concepts in theory. The school teachers always solved my doubts promptly via calls and texts. I learned discipline in the final months. So, I would say having a schedule and believing in yourself is crucial.”

Shreyashi Aggarwal – 90% (Commerce)

Shreyashi Aggarwal, a commerce student who scored 90%, shares her study tips: “There were some tips and rules I built and followed to remain active and concentrate on my studies. I created a study schedule, planned my study time wisely, and focused on understanding concepts rather than rote memorisation. Solving past papers helped me get familiar with the exam pattern and manage time effectively. I aspire to be a Chartered Accountant and I am confident this experience will help me in my CA exams in the future.”

She added,  “Regular breaks during study sessions maintained my concentration levels. Regular revision ensured topics stayed fresh in my memory. Maintaining a positive attitude and confidence in my preparation was key. Business Studies was the toughest subject for me but I kept studying until I gained confidence in this subject.”
