The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the correction window for the University Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 today at 11:59 pm. Candidates who have registered for the UGC NET June 2024 exam can make necessary edits to their application forms on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Following the closure of the correction facility, the NTA will issue exam city intimation slips to all registered candidates, which will inform them of the likely locations of their exam centers.

The UGC NET June 2024 exam is scheduled for June 18 and will be conducted in an OMR-based format, a shift from the previous computer-based test (CBT) mode. The exam will last for three hours and cover 83 subjects in a pen-and-paper format. This exam, conducted twice a year by the NTA, aims to award Junior Research Fellowships (JRF), eligibility for assistant professorships, and admission to PhD programs.

Both the UGC NET admit card and the advanced city intimation slip will be available on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Additionally, the link to download the UGC NET admit card will be accessible via the NTA’s official website, nta.ac.in.

Regarding corrections, candidates are only permitted to edit specific details like their date of birth, category, father’s name, and mother’s name. However, changes to other personal information, including the candidate’s name, gender, photograph, signature, mobile number, email address, permanent and correspondence address, and exam city, are not allowed.

To ensure a smooth process, candidates should complete any necessary corrections before the deadline. This ensures that all information is accurate and up-to-date ahead of the issuance of admit cards and exam city slips.
