Apeejay School, Rama Mandi in Jalandhar, recently honoured Smt. Rajeshwari Paul, affectionately known as Mata ji, on her 12th Punya Tithi. She was the beloved wife of late Founder-Chairman of Apeejay Education and Apeejay Stya Group Dr Stya Paul. The tribute took place to commemorate her invaluable contributions and legacy to the Apeejay community.

The event, held in the school’s premises, brought together the Principal, Vice Principal, staff, and students to pay their respects. Floral tributes were offered, accompanied by soulful bhajans, symbolising the profound impact Smt. Rajeshwari Paul had on the school and its members.

Mr. A. K. Sharma, Principal of the school, shared fond memories of Smt. Rajeshwari Paul’s journey and her pivotal role in shaping Apeejay Education. He emphasised her nurturing presence, describing her as a motherly figure to all Apeejayites. Her unwavering support for Dr. Stya Paul ji’s vision of holistic education and nation-building exemplified her dedication to the Apeejay ethos.

Beyond her administrative contributions, Smt. Rajeshwari Paul was known for her compassion and empathy. She not only contributed to the academic growth of students but also fostered a sense of belonging and familial bonds within the Apeejay community.
