This Pharmaceutical School signs MOU to enhance students’ skills and know-how

The knowledge-sharing activity on emerging technologies will help bridge the skill gap and foster innovation

School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Apeejay Stya University, Gurugram, signs Memorandum of Understanding with Amarant Life Sciences Pvt Ltd, a Delhi-based pharmaceutical company, to provide students with professional development training for the pharma industry. 

The MoU sets out a joint intention between School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Amarant Life Sciences Pvt Ltd to explore the development of Apeejay students while making them ready for the pharma sector. 

Further, knowledge sharing via exposure of regulatory affairs and skill development in the area of project management, compliance, documentation, processes and systems as well as domain specific workshop and training will be provided to the students. The budding graduates from Apeejay could play a key role in technological upgradation , innovation and competitiveness of an industry not only locally, but at a global level.  

In addition to the above, Amarant Life Sciences Pvt Ltd will provide technical know-how (in online and offline mode) through company experts to the students, on and beyond the pharmacy curriculum, technology trends and industrial requirements. It is to train students on the emerging technologies in order to bridge the skill gap and make them industry ready from time to time. Plus, practical aspects of regulation, licensing business cycle of a manufacturing unit and project work, all form key elements of learning to be a part of the pharma industry.
