‘There is a boost of confidence and knowledge in my children at school’

“Having siblings in the same school is advantageous on several grounds like parents can communicate more effectively with teachers and school staff about both siblings, fostering a streamlined and comprehensive understanding of their academic and social progress,” shares Rahul Goyal whose children Parth and Mishna study in class IV and II respectively at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri.

Excerpts from the interview

Why did you select Apeejay for your child?

This school has educated most of my family members. My brother’s children are studying at this school including my elder son, so it was a choice by default for my daughter too.

How are the teachers here?

All the teachers here are very professional. They make sure to give timely feedback about both of my kids. They are always available over the phone for any communication to be done. So it’s all good with them so far.

Are any special techniques used by teachers here?

They always maintain top-class decorum and discipline amongst kids. This instills a lot of great value structure in their personality and growth. I am happy to see such a great educational environment at this school.

What is the positive impact school has made on your children?

Mishna is now six years old and there has been a big impact on her personality and behaviour. She has become more active and enthusiastic about daily events and is making sense of things around her gradually. Even Parth, my son who is now in class IV, has become more confident and an extrovert child. Rest there is a long way to go since both of them are still quite young.

How is the balance between extracurricular activities and studies here?

There are plenty of sports and curricular activities that the school offers and both my children happily participate in most of them. Events around festivals, Annual and Sports Day are also something my children look forward to.

How much do you agree with the adage – that school is the second home for a child?

I give 100/100 to this school for presenting the best learning environment to my kids. Whenever my children are at school, I am rest assured about their safety and happiness. All the teachers here are extremely kind, cooperative, and carefully maintain the administration.

How much do you interact with your children about school?

I always make efforts to keep a tab on my children. Whenever I sit down to talk with them, they will narrate all the stories related to school and their experiences of all kinds. I love it when they tell me playful stories about school.
