Nursery-aged children thrive in environments that are safe, welcoming, and nurturing. “Teachers at this school establish a warm and inviting classroom atmosphere where children feel comfortable expressing themselves and exploring their surroundings,” expresses Bharti Saini whose daughter Riva studies in Nursery at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri.

Excerpts from the interview

Why did you select Apeejay for your child?

Like any other parent, we wanted the best and most conducive school environment for our child where she can grow extensively. Our daughter is already blessed with a very sharp set of mind, so we wanted a school where her potential can be utilised well. Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri is the perfect place for her to progress.

How are the teachers here?

So far we have a limited interaction with the teachers here, though I can say it is so far so good. I am looking forward to many more interactions and PTMs with them.

How is Riva feeling at school?

The most positive aspect is that my daughter goes to this school in a happy state of mind and comes back the same way. We were initially apprehensive if our child could settle easily at school, but I am glad that my daughter feels so comfortable at school.

Do you agree that school is the second home for a child?

I completely believe in this adage. Since my child is very young and in my opinion sending a child outside of home is a very big responsibility. We were initially quite apprehensive about everything but now I feel assured that this school takes care of my little kid so well. The school environment, other kids and everything else is thankfully to my expectations.

What has Riva learnt so far?

The teachers at school teach through fun activities. She has learnt a few poems and stories so far along with learning how to draw a few figures and shapes. She has also learnt how to hold a pencil with a good grip. She is certainly improving daily.

What is your dream for your child?

I want my child to live her life happily and take ownership of it. She should never feel suppressed for anything and I want her to express her thoughts and wishes openly. She should always stay mentally strong and an active child.
