‘We received a warm welcome at this school’

“At this school, teachers encourage young kids to express themselves through play and creativity. They believe in building strong relationships with both children and parents to foster trust and support,” expresses Ritu Phogat, whose daughter Udhisha is studying in Nursery at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri. 

Excerpts from the interview: 

Why did you select Apeejay for your daughter? 

When we started looking for an apt school, we figured out that Apeejay has the best of facilities, infrastructure and top-notch pedagogy. Hence, we finally zeroed down on this school for our daughter. 

How does she feel at school? 

It’s been almost fifteen to twenty days that she has started going to school. So far, its been a sweet and an overwhelming journey. She has opened up to the teachers and other peers and talks about herself. 

How are the teachers here? 

Though our interaction is limited so far with the staff here, still I have to say that I am completely satisfied as a parent. I believe in the teachers here and wish the best for them and my daughter’s journey here. 

Do you have any dream for your daughter?

I want my child to get into defence forces. I want her to oustshine herself and make her name in the Indian army. 

What all has she learnt at school so far? 

Udisha has learnt English and Hindi recitation. She reads out poems proudly. She also enjoys drawing and art and craft activities thoroughly. 

Do you agree with the adage- that school is the second home for a child?

This is true in all ways. A school should have an ideal environment for kids and most importantly, the teachers should be amiable and caring. Once the students are familiar with the teachers, they are always comfortable to go to school.
