‘The teachers at AIMETC are warm and helpful’

Mr. Vipin Kumar is a Senior Supervisor with the Research and Development department in Vardhaman Yarns & Threads Ltd. His son Pratham Sharma, is a first year MBA student at Apeejay Institute of Management and Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC). In a brief interview, Mr. Kumar tells us about his son’s clear heartedness, passion for photo shoots and progress at the AIMETC campus. Edited excerpts:

Why did you choose AIMETC over other colleges for your son’s admission?

I had heard a lot about AIMETC. The college enjoys a very good reputation. Many boys from our locality have studied here. I had also visited some other universities but honestly, I did not find them that good. I liked the AIMETC college campus and the college infrastructure as well. So, I got Pratham enrolled here.

Please tell us a bit about Pratham and take us through his progress at the college?

Well every parent loves to praise their child but I genuinely feel that Pratham is a very good boy. He has a sound character. Pratham never hides anything from me. He shares everything with me since his school life.  Speaking about today, I know he will come home in the evening from college and he will tell me everything about the day starting from catching the bus to the campus to the college lectures.

Pratham loves to get photo shoots done, that is his favourite hobby. His friends and he enjoy clicking each other’s pictures. One of the boys in his group has a DSLR camera. There are many good scenic locations here, the jungle is near as well , so they go to these scenic locations for the photo shoot. Pratham is a good student. His attendance is also up to date as well. He is performing well at AIMETC.

Are the teachers engaging and supporting the students well?

Yes, they are. Pratham praises the teachers a lot. He tells me that all the teachers are extremely helpful, warm and cooperative.  The teachers listen to the queries of each and every student. The teachers are very friendly, approachable and all the students feel comfortable in the class.

What is the best thing about AIMETC?

I find the best thing is that AIMETC despite being such a big institution is still so rooted in its values. AIMETC doesn’t exploit or harass students in the name of education unlike many other institutions.  Despite being a part of such a big college, all the teachers are also very nice and polite.

How has the experience of the online classes been for Pratham?

The online classes were good. The online classes have taken place regularly and timely. Pratham has also attended the classes every day. The teachers have taught with a lot of care in the online classes as well.
