Meet Saumya Chadha, a parent from Apeejay School, Noida. For her proper and organised foundational education is non-negotiable, since it is a bedrock. Ever since joining the Apeejay family, she has seen holistic improvement in her son, Ayaan, who now studies in Class II. In an interview she talks about what shaped her decision to choose Apeejay.
What made you choose this school?
We’d heard a great deal about Apeejay School; it’s a very old, well-established group, and that brand reputation was certainly one of the main reasons we chose the school. We wanted our children to have exposure to a natural environment during school hours. That balance mattered to us.
How do you feel about the quality of education at the school?
There’s a strong emphasis on holistic development here. The school focuses equally on academics and extracurricular activities. The school encourages children to take part in plenty of competitions, which I think is genuinely valuable for building well-rounded kids.
How have you seen Ayaan grow, both holistically and academically?
I’d say those foundation years were incredibly important for Ayaan. The teachers in the primary section were genuinely excellent, and the groundwork they laid back then is still helping him today. He handles both academics and extracurricular activities well. It’s been wonderful to see how a solid early foundation carries forward over the years. I’ve seen teachers put in real effort when a child shows interest and engagement.
Are the teachers approachable and supportive when you have concerns?
There are regular parent-teacher meetings where we get to connect with them. Beyond that, if we ever need to raise a concern separately, we can simply fix an appointment and meet them after school hours. They’ve always been approachable whenever we’ve needed to reach out.
The school has prioritised a strong foundational approach in the early years, with academics, values, and extracurricular exposure all woven together. It’s genuinely reassuring as a parent to see that foundation continuing to pay off as Ayaan moves through the grades.
