Meenakshi Ashta, whose daughter Bhavya and son Khevansh are studying in Apeejay Model Town and Apeejay Mahavir Marg respectively, says she finds both the schools to be among the best in Jalandhar. From the teachers’ sincere efforts to offering various scholastic and non-scholastic opportunities, Apeejay takes care of every aspect, believes Meenakshi, a homemaker. Read on to know more about how her children are progressing:

What made  you pick Apeejay?

Bhavya completed preschool in Apeejay Mahavir Marg after which she was enrolled in Apeejay Model Town in class 1. My younger son Khevansh is in upper kindergarten in Apeejay Mahavir Marg. Apeejay was a spontaneous choice for us since we knew about the school’s reputation. The school is known for its academics as well as the exposure it provides in terms of co-curricular activities.

Would you say that Apeejay Mahavir Marg and Apeejay Model Town have lived up to your expectations?

Yes, we are very satisfied with the schools. I believe that Apeejay is the best in every aspect, from infrastructure to the overall environment. Bhavya has been groomed entirely in Apeejay; we have never felt the need to get her enrolled in any private tuition or art class, for instance. All her skills are being honed at school.

How do the school teachers help in building a strong educational foundation?

The teachers focus on thorough understanding of topics, which helps build a strong educational foundation. As a result, the students are already writing Olympiad exams comfortably. The teachers ensure that the children are prepared with the lessons in the class itself, which we could see firsthand in the online classes. Now that offline classes have started, Bhavya comes home and shares with us all that she has learned which gives us further assurance that she is on the right track.

As far as Khevansh is concerned, he is now able to read comfortably. He always tries to put in 100 percent effort in everything he does. Although he mostly attended online classes, I never found his education being compromised in any way. He has learned a lot. He has now finally started going physically to school and has been having a great time.

My children have also developed an interest in extracurricular activities. Bhavya enjoys art and craft, dance, and music while Khevansh also participates in several activities.

What kind of relationship do you have with the teachers?

I am regularly in touch with the teachers. They always share valuable feedback about the kids.
