Students from Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, created beautiful posters, paintings on “Energy Conservation” theme

Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, recently organised a poster-making competition in the school for classes 4 to 10. The theme of this competition was “Energy Conservation -2022”.

This competition was organised under the guidance of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, Government of India. The goal is to encourage school students to participate in the state and national level poster-making or painting competitions and spread messages on energy conservation through their artwork.

Hence, Apeejay Charkhi Dadri took this opportunity to sensitise the school students towards energy efficiency and energy conservation in the domestic sector. Students expressed their innovative ideas colourfully through paintings and sketches.

Displaying their immense talent and artistic skills through an array of posters, they participated in this competition with immense zeal and enthusiasm and made beautiful posters that gave the message of conserving energy. More than 50 students from across classes 4 to 10 participated in this competition.

“Students expressed their thoughts on energy conservation through interactive and creative posters in the school. We hope that they truly work towards saving energy in their future endeavors as well,” said Rudrendra Basak, Principal of Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri.

The competition is divided into two categories – Group A (for classes 5, 6 and 7) and Group B (for classes 8,9,10).  Best paintings each for Categories ‘A’ and ‘B’ will be selected by a Committee of Experts/Jury.  Selected participants will be called for two hours on-the spot Painting Competition to be held on 14th November, 2022. Each participating student from Categories ‘A’ & ‘B’ will be paid ₹2000/- in cash and a participation certificate. 

Finally, 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners of State Level Painting Competition of the Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ from each State/UT will be invited to Delhi to participate in the “National Level Painting Competition” to be held on 12th December, 2022.
