For Siya Devi, hailing from Himachal Pradesh, the journey at Apeejay Institute of Management and Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC) has been one of growth, learning, and achievement. Completing her postgraduate studies at the institute, Siya actively engaged in academic and skill-development activities that strengthened her confidence and professional abilities. Securing placement offers from three reputed organisations, she credits her success to consistent preparation, faculty guidance, and self-discipline.

How do you feel about receiving the placement offer? What position have you been offered?

Receiving placement offers from three reputed organisations is a proud and memorable achievement for me. It reflects the hard work, dedication, and consistent efforts I put into my academic and professional development.

I have been offered the position of Management Trainee by Berger Paints; Counselling Trainee by Law Sikho, and Skill Arbitrage; and Management Trainee by Learning Routes.

Receiving multiple offers has boosted my confidence and motivated me to continue striving for excellence in my career. I am grateful to AIMETC, my teachers, and my family for their continuous support throughout this journey.

How did you prepare for your placements?

My placement preparation was focused on developing both technical and professional skills. I regularly practiced aptitude, logical reasoning, and verbal ability questions to improve my problem-solving abilities. Alongside this, I worked on enhancing my communication and presentation skills. I also prepared for interviews by researching companies, understanding job roles, participating in mock interviews, and refining my resume. Consistency, self-discipline, and a positive attitude helped me stay focused throughout the placement process.

How did your teachers at Apeejay help you during the placement process

The faculty members at Apeejay Institute of Management and Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC) played a crucial role in my placement journey. They provided continuous mentorship, conducted placement training sessions, and guided us in improving our interview and communication skills. The teachers also organised mock interviews, group discussions, and aptitude training programs that helped me gain confidence and understand industry expectations. Their valuable feedback and encouragement motivated me to perform better and approach the placement process with confidence.

 Tips to crack job interview

Based on my experience, I would like to share the following tips:

* Understand your strengths and be confident while presenting them.

* Build a strong foundation in aptitude, reasoning, and communication skills.

* Prepare thoroughly about the company and the job role.

* Participate in mock interviews to improve confidence and reduce nervousness.

* Be honest in your responses and maintain a positive attitude.

* Dress professionally and maintain good body language.

* Listen carefully to questions and answer them clearly and confidently.

* Stay calm and believe in your preparation.

Consistency and confidence are the key factors in succeeding during interviews.

Your future aspirations

My future aspiration is to build a successful career in management and continuously develop my professional skills. I aim to gain practical industry experience, take on challenging responsibilities, and contribute effectively to the growth of the organisation I work with.

In the long term, I aspire to move into leadership positions where I can lead teams, make strategic decisions, and create a positive impact within the organisation. I am committed to lifelong learning and continuous self-improvement to achieve my professional goals.
