Neetu, who works as a nurse at Apeejay International Greater Noida enrolled her son Lavish in the school this year. In just a few months, the nursery student has started actively participating in all activities in class. He loves going to school, says the mother. In an interview, Neetu tells us about the developments she is seeing in her son. Edited excerpts:

Why did you choose Apeejay International Greater Noida for your child?

From my conversations with my peers, I got to know that Apeejay is very progressive and dedicates itself to the all-round development of children. The teachers are very encouraging and supportive. The fact that I work at the school as a nurse was also one of the reasons that I enrolled my child.

Lavish joined the school this year. How well has he adapted to the new environment?

Lavish loves going to school. He has been interacting well with his teachers and classmates. He listens to his teachers and tries to do things accordingly. He enjoys his classes.

Is he participating in class activities or co-curricular activities?

My son recently participated in an event organised on Mother’s Day. He is quite active in class.

What kind of improvements are you seeing in Lavish?

Lavish can quickly grasp the lessons. For instance, he has learned counting and some poems that were taught in class. The credit goes to the teachers, of course, who make the class very interactive and engaging for students. Activity-based learning practised at Apeejay is very helpful especially when it comes to small children. My son is very excited about learning new things, which is most important.

How do the teachers support parents?

The teachers share feedback with parents regularly. They are always there to guide us as well. Whenever in doubt, I can easily reach out to them to seek help. Lavish’s teacher is happy with his progress in class and so am I.
