This Greater Noida school marks scholar badge ceremony with zest

Geniuses are not born, they are made. They are made through the fire of hard times, the water of acceptance, the air of letting go, the soil of hard work as well as the sky of dreams and vision. To be a genius, one must test oneself constantly to increase the inherent capability.

To provide students with a learning opportunity for the same, Apeejay International School, Greater Noida recently observed its scholar badge ceremony. The school felicitated meritorious students across classes 6-12 for their splendid performance in the academic session of 2021-2022.

The scholar badge ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp accompanied by the chanting of the Saraswati Vandana. The ceremony was graced by the benign presence of Mr. Mahendra Singh Dev, DSO-ACP, G.T.B. Nagar. A soulful musical rendition of the song ‘Tu Zinda Hai‘ left the audience spellbound.

Welcoming the chief guest and congratulating the students for their commendable academic performance, Dr. Sarita Pande, Principal of the school said, “Perseverance and dedication is the key to success. As young scholars, you all must keep striving for excellence and keep the banner of Apeejay International School, Greater Noida flying high through your efforts”.

It was followed by the felicitation of the academic scholars. Meritorious students were awarded certificates and badges by the Chief Guest Mr. Mahendra Singh Dev.  He also addressed the gathering and encouraged all students to keep up the hard work with sincerity and devotion.

It was a proud moment for the parents of the young scholars in the audience as they witnessed their wards receive the prestigious awards. Students who had achieved the scholar badges twice were awarded the ‘super scholar badge’. Those who had achieved the badge thrice were awarded the badge of ‘academic star’. Students who outperformed and had achieved the badge four times or more than five were awarded the badge ‘high achiever’ and ‘super achiever’.  

As the ceremony neared its conclusion, the school students put up an riveting Indian classical dance performance which was applauded by all those present. The ceremony concluded with the singing of the school song. Finally, Senior School Coordinators, Ms. Maninder and Ms. Jaljit extended the vote of thanks.
