‘My children showed remarkable development within just two years of studying in this school’

Rakesh Kumar, who runs a construction business, enrolled his three children in Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri two years back. They are now in classes II, VIII, and X respectively. The father says he is highly impressed with the overall development he is observing in his children, thanks to the efforts made by their teachers. He tells us more about his experience in an interview.

Why did you pick Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, for your kids?

The school is close to our house, which is one of the reasons we shortlisted it initially. When we asked our relatives and neighbours about the school, they gave very good feedback. Our children were enrolled in a different school earlier. But when people gave us assurance, we decided to shift our kids to Apeejay.

What has the overall experience been like so far?

It has been a wonderful experience. Manan, who was earlier scared of school, now looks forward to meeting his teachers and classmates every day. Not only did he settle in quickly at Apeejay but has also shown a lot of progress till now. He wanted to go to school even during the lockdown! Manan respects his teacher a lot and follows her advice every step of the way. The way teachers converse with the children and keep encouraging them is commendable.

Can you tell us about some significant improvements you noticed in your children after they joined Apeejay?

Manan, who is in class II, has developed an interest in studying, which is great progress in itself. He also participates in several co-curricular activities like morning assembly, fancy dress competition, etc., and thoroughly enjoys them. His English speaking and writing skills have improved significantly.

Kirti and Artita, who are in classes X and VIII respectively, are also showing great development in just two years of studying at Apeejay. Kirti, who will be taking the CBSE Board exam this year, is being groomed very well by her teachers.

More importantly, Apeejay has been successful in shaping my children’s overall personalities.

What has your interaction with the school staff been like?

Be it the principal or the teachers, each member at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, is very supportive and cooperative. They make us feel comfortable whenever we visit the school. Not just the students, they also motivate parents to involve their kids in all kinds of school activities for better development. They always stay in touch with parents to inform them about their children’s progress, class activities, and homework, among other important things.
