Jalandhar College conducts engaging workshop on blog designing

During the session, the expert explains class 12 students on how to develop a blog using creative and unique elements

Blog designing is an emerging career prospective and learning how to execute creative designs for a blog page will certainly open up exciting opportunities for students. An understanding of blog designing equips them with valuable skills in web development, user experience design, and content creation. With the growing demand for online presence, students can explore career opportunities as freelance designers, bloggers, or even start their own digital ventures.

Thus, understanding the prospects of the same, Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA) in Jalandhar recently organised classes in Blog Designing for the students of class 12. The institute conducted a free of cost 3-week Certificate Course in Blog Designing. Students from various schools in and around the city enrolled in it and reaped the maximum benefits of this golden opportunity

In these classes, Ms Poonam Verma from the Department of Computer Science and IT explained to the students about blog designing with the latest technology. She further familiarised them on how to develop a blog using creative and unique elements to capture the attention of the users, which is visually appealing. In addition, the aspirants learnt about fundamentals of website development, techniques of digital marketing and using these blogs to promote the brand. They also learnt that these blogs should be user friendly.

The students collectively expressed how these classes were “the best way to utilise their vacation period.” They had also got the chance to go around the campus and explore the college. They were very happy to be in a lively campus like ACFA which is equipped with the latest and modern infrastructure.

Further expressing her views, Principal of ACFA Dr. Neerja Dhingra said,  “Since the youth is the future of the nation, it is important to guide them with new trends. And these free of cost Skill Enhancement classes will provide them with an opportunity to explore the various courses which they might pursue in the future, and at the same time utilise their free time productively. These classes will certainly prove to be beneficial for them.”
