How was your internship experience?

My internship experience was full of learning experiences and exposure as I got the opportunity to perform studies on bacteria E.coli and use various high-tech instruments, which helped me to know more about proper procedure to handle such instructions with precautions. My journey was also filled with fun and adventure as my seniors and superiors made it an experience full of cheerfulness and new learning.

Share two benefits of doing an internship?

Firstly, the opportunities you get to learn about the real world and its harsh realities and secondly, an internship helps in understanding one’s strengths and weaknesses in the industry.

A key thing you learned during your internship

Collegiality – the importance of doing tasks in an interdependent process and the excellent results produced by such teamwork.

How did your professors at Apeejay prepare you for the internships

My professors at the university kept it real and helped me throughout the process, especially D.K. Majumdar Sir, who helped me a lot during this journey. They told us about their own experience of working in an organisation, mistakes and precautions to be taken.

What are your future aspirations?

In the time ahead, I only wish to do my best and portray the values that I learn throughout my academic and professional journeys. I wish to pursue an MBA programme in Pharmacy, which will expose me to international relations as well as India’s current positioning on the international front.
