Culture and Colours: Students display their creative talents at Smt. Rajeshwari Paul Kala Utsav

Marking the 98^th birth anniversary of Smt. Rajeshwari Paul, wife of Apeejay Education’s Founder-Chairman, Dr Stya Paul, Apeejay School, Nerul recently organised a Kala Utsav. On the ceremonious day, students, parents and school staff gathered to remember the noble soul with gratitude and reverence.

Students of the school paid tribute to her in the form of art and culture. The programme started with a melodious prayer followed by the lighting of the lamp and floral offerings to the picture of Late Smt. Rajeshwari Paul. 

Regional Director – Academics at Apeejay, Mumbai, Mr. Rakesh Joshi read out a message by Madam Sushma Paul Berlia, President of Apeejay Stya Group. He spoke highly of the values of kindness, compassion and humility which were epitomised by Smt Rajeshwari Paul.

After that, the school’s orchestra consisting of talented and budding musicians presented a musical symphony themed ‘Mother’. Their heart-touching performance mesmerised the audience. Students also danced to spread awareness on the importance of Mother and Mother Nature.  Their performance represented how both are the biggest and the most irreplaceable blessing to this world.

The cultural programme was followed by an art exhibition where students displayed their artistic creations. The room was filled with drawings and paintings by students. The Kala Utsav further encouraged them to participate in various art forms such as music, dance, theatre, arts and clay modelling.
