Apeejay School, Faridabad conducted a guidance session on the Scheme of Studies for Class IX for the academic session 2026–27, helping students understand the revised academic framework, subject options, assessment pattern, and expectations for the upcoming session.

The session was led by the Principal, Capt. Praveen Roy, and Senior Academic Coordinator, Ms. Deepa Sharma, who guided students through the key aspects of the curriculum and highlighted the changes introduced under the revised CBSE framework.

The interactive session familiarised students with the academic structure of Class IX and provided them with essential information to make thoughtful and informed decisions about their subjects and future academic pathways. The educators also elaborated on the expectations associated with the new curriculum and encouraged students to approach their academic choices with clarity and confidence.

A key focus of the session was the introduction of Kaushal Vikas, the new Skill Education subject. Students were briefed about how the subject aims to provide meaningful, hands-on exposure to different vocational areas, enabling them to explore practical skills and understand their relevance in the evolving world of work.

The revised three-language framework was also explained in detail. Students were introduced to the R1, R2, and R3 levels, helping them understand the structure and requirements of language learning under the updated curriculum.

Another significant addition discussed during the session was Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence (CT & AI), which has been introduced as a compulsory module for Class IX. The module is designed to develop foundational computational, digital, and problem-solving skills while complementing the core academic curriculum.

The session concluded with an engaging Question-and-Answer segment, during which students raised their queries and sought clarification on various aspects of the new scheme. The discussion helped students gain greater confidence and clarity as they prepare to embark on their Class IX academic journey.
