Several factors influenced this parent’s decision in choosing Apeejay School, Greater Noida, for her daughters. She first searched for Apeejay Education online and learnt that it has several branches and a long-established educational legacy. This gave her confidence in the school. Its proximity to her home was another important consideration. Meet Ms Manisha Anand, whose daughters, Ria and Tia, are studying in Classes VIII and lower KG, respectively.

In a candid interview, the mother shares the positive changes in both her daughters, among other things.

Why did you choose the school for your younger daughter?

Since I had been selected to teach here, it seemed convenient for all of us to be in the same school. I joined in November 2024, and both my children were subsequently admitted. My elder daughter shifted from another school, while my younger daughter, Tia, began nursery at Apeejay School, Greater Noida, in 2025.

How did your daughter adjust after changing schools?

She gradually became familiar with the new environment and school system. She is now completely comfortable at the school and has started participating enthusiastically in its programmes. She recently took part in anchoring during a school event.

How did the school support her transition?

The school provided her with an environment in which she could remain focused on studying and learning. Over time, she has become an independent learner and now manages much of her academic work by herself.

How is your younger daughter, Tia, progressing?

Tia is progressing well. She can now write capital and lowercase letters and continues to improve with regular practice. It is encouraging to see her learn and develop steadily. But I would like her to become more confident while performing before an audience. She recently participated in an animal enactment programme and performed well in front of her class teacher. With continued encouragement from her teachers and us, I am confident that she will become more comfortable onstage.

Difference between the students at Apeejay School and those at other schools?

If I compare the students at my previous school with those at Apeejay School, I find the children here sincere and receptive. They respond positively to their teachers and demonstrate a willingness to learn.

What was your first impression of the school as a parent?

I saw that the school offered children opportunities to learn, participate and grow. Over time, I have been pleased to see my daughters becoming more comfortable, confident and involved in school life.

How is Ria performing academically and in extracurricular activities?

She is doing well academically and has become an independent learner. She follows the notes provided by her teachers and manages her studies largely on her own. As she became more familiar with the school environment, she started showing greater interest and becoming more actively involved in events. She has also taken part in anchoring during a school programme.
