Teachers’ Day is more than just a date on the calendar; it is a heartfelt celebration of those who shape our futures. In schools, this day serves as a vibrant tribute to the mentors who ignite curiosity, inspire dreams, and instill values in young minds. It’s a day for students to express gratitude and acknowledge the dedication of their teachers, who tirelessly nurture growth, both academically and emotionally. Celebrating Teachers’ Day fosters respect, appreciation, and a deeper bond between students and educators.

Apeejay School Model Town along with Apeejay, Rhythms Kinderworld, Jalandhar celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm, paying tribute to the selfless dedication of educators who shape society’s future. 

The event was graced by the Officiating Principal, Ms. Priyanka Grover, who commended both students and teachers for creating a memorable celebration followed by Ms Namrata Sharma, Headmistress, Apeejay School, Model town. Ms Nidhi Ghai, the School Head of Apeejay, Rhythms Kinderworld, Jalandhar also graced the occasion. 

The day commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by a tribute to Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, the visionary whose legacy is honored on this special day. The entire celebration was organised by the talented students of Grades IX and X, reflecting their admiration for their teachers.

The event’s highlight was an inspiring message from the Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education, which was thoughtfully read by Ms Priyanka Grover, officiating Principal of Apeejay School, Model Town.

Dear Teachers,

I wish you all a very Happy Teachers’ Day!

For us, this day is really very special, as the role of teachers in an education institution is paramount. Also, it is an occasion to acknowledge the contribution of teachers in shaping up the youth and the nation, throughout the year.

I would like to commend you all on your excellent work. I am sure that the new challenges that beckon us would be met by you with the same resilience, dedication and determination which you have always demonstrated.

Value-based education including human values continues to be the cornerstone of all Apeejay Education Institutions. The overarching goal is to bring about harmony in the physical, socio-emotional, intellectual, and spiritual development of the students. Our campuses not only inculcate a love for learning but encourage an entire way of life rooted in values and wellness, while also keeping abreast with emerging technologies and 21st-century learning. In tune with NEP, our endeavour is to make education more experiential, stress-free, and joyful.

Our motto ‘Soaring High is My Nature’ exemplifies the fact that we should never rest on our laurels, as the pursuit of excellence is a never-ending quest, and there are always new skies to conquer.

I am sure that as educators, we are conscious and mindful of the new realities in relevant emerging domains so that our institutions scale many more peaks of success in the years to come.

This message resonated with the entire school community, reinforcing the school’s commitment to quality education and moral values.

During the special Teachers’ Day celebration, the students of Apeejay School, Model Town, also had the unique opportunity to step into their teachers’ shoes, taking on the role of educators for the day.

“This was an amazing experience. We felt a sense of responsibility to pass on the knowledge and values instilled in us by our own teachers. We realised that teaching is not about knowing the subject only it is about having patience, understanding, and care for everyone which makes it rewarding. Being a teacher is a challenging job that offers a unique set of experiences. We are incredibly grateful to the principal Ma’am, who gave us this opportunity. Thanks a lot from the core of our heart,” said Kanan and Kangna, students of Class X, Apeejay School, Model Town.

Adding to the day’s vibrancy, the students delivered a lively enactment and an energetic dance performance, filling the auditorium with cheer. As a gesture of gratitude, they presented beautiful handmade cards to their teachers, expressing heartfelt appreciation.

As a token of appreciation, the Management arranged a special lunch for the teaching staff, adding to the day’s joy and underscoring the school’s gratitude for their dedication and hard work.
