Schools celebrate Teacher’s Day to honour and appreciate the dedication and hard work of teachers in shaping young minds. This day acknowledges their role in education, inspiring students, and building a better future. Celebrations foster a sense of gratitude, strengthen the teacher-student bond, and create an environment where educators feel valued and motivated to continue their essential work.
For the same, Apeejay School, Kharghar celebrated Teachers’ Day with utmost enthusiasm honouring the dedication and hard work of the teachers. The day began with a special morning assembly, thoughtfully organised to honour the dedication and commitment of the mentors. The assembly opened with a PowerPoint Presentation highlighting the significance of Teachers’ Day, commemorating the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a renowned educator and former President of India. The presentation underscored the vital role teachers play in shaping young minds and building the future of the nation.

A special message from Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education, was also read out, where she praised the teachers for their passion and commitment and encouraged them to continue inspiring students with purpose and enthusiasm.
Dear Teachers,

I wish you all a very Happy Teachers’ Day!
For us, this day is really very special, as the role of teachers in an education institution is paramount. Also, it is an occasion to acknowledge the contribution of teachers in shaping up the youth and the nation, throughout the year.
I would like to commend you all on your excellent work. I am sure that the new challenges that beckon us would be met by you with the same resilience, dedication and determination which you have always demonstrated.
Value-based education including human values continues to be the cornerstone of all Apeejay Education Institutions. The overarching goal is to bring about harmony in the physical, socio-emotional, intellectual and spiritual development of the students. Our campuses not only inculcate a love for learning but encourage an entire way of life rooted in values and wellness, while also keeping abreast with emerging technologies and 21st Century learning. In tune with NEP, our endeavour is to make education more experiential, stress-free and joyful.
Our motto ‘Soaring High is My Nature’ exemplifies the fact that we should never rest on our laurels, as the pursuit of excellence is a never-ending quest, and there are always new skies to conquer.
I am sure that as educators, we are conscious and mindful of the new realities in relevant emerging domains, so that our institutions scale many more peaks of success in the years to come.

Following the presentation, a student delivered an inspiring speech on the pivotal role that teachers play in guiding, mentoring, and nurturing students throughout their academic journey. The speech emphasised how teachers not only impart knowledge but also instil values, encourage creativity, and inspire students to achieve their full potential.

The assembly was graced by the presence of Dr Sonali Balvatkar, the Principal of the school who addressed the gathering with warm words of appreciation. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all the teachers for their unwavering efforts and dedication to the students and the school. Acknowledging the challenging yet rewarding role of educators, she extended her best wishes to the entire teaching faculty, recognising their impact in fostering a positive learning environment.
The celebration continued with vibrant performances by the students. A melodious music performance was followed by an energetic dance routine, bringing smiles and applause from the audience. The performances reflected the students’ appreciation and gratitude for their teachers in a lively and cheerful manner.

The festivities concluded with a delightful team lunch where the teachers gathered for a relaxing meal, enjoying a well-deserved break and bonding with colleagues. This day of recognition, gratitude, and celebration left both students and teachers with cherished memories, marking the Teachers’ Day celebration a grand success.
